Per I.C. 33-38-9.5-5, the purpose of Wells County Local Justice Reinvestment Advisory Council [Wells County JRAC] is to promote the use of evidence based practices and the best practices of community based alternatives and recidivism reduction programs, including  

• Probation Services;
• Mental Health and Addiction Treatment and Recovery Services;
• Community Corrections;
• Evidence Based Recidivism Reduction Programs for currently incarcerated persons;
• Other Rehabilitation Alternatives;
• The Incorporation of Evidence Based Decision Making into Decisions Concerning Jail Overcrowding; and
• JDAI and Youth Services.  

The meetings will be held at 11:30 am in the Circuit Court Jury Room on the third floor in the Wells County Courthouse. In the event the meeting location must be changed it will be posted outside the room.
